Dear Saint Edward’s School Community:
With the perspective of having an abundance of caution, and of caring about our children, families, and professional staff, we have decided to suspend school and all school-related activities at Saint Edward’s School for this coming Monday, March 16th and Tuesday, March 17th. The School’s leaders and technology teams will collaborate for those 48 hours to plan our path forward for this coming week and beyond.
At this point, we are requesting no students or faculty come to campus until we can sort through and plan for the next steps. It may be that there will be a scheduled period of time when students may come to gather their materials early next week, and we will be sure to communicate that plan moving forward when it has been confirmed. For those two days, we will not have any additional assignments for our students until further notice. Also, we are requesting that all co-curricular activities such as athletics be suspended both on and off campus and until further notice.
Please know that we realize this altered schedule is not easy for our families. However, I hope you know that our number one goal and mission as a School is to keep our children, families, and professional staff safe at all times. Hence, we have had to make this most difficult decision so that we may be safe and have the time to plan our next steps.
Thanks for your expected understanding and support during these most difficult times.
Sincerely,

Michael J. Mersky
Head of School
